大家好！
我是来自xx班的，很荣幸能站在自强之星的舞台上，代表获得本次自强之星的同学们发言。
我来自农村的一个贫困家庭，母亲在我十周岁那年因癌症不幸去世，xx年7月父亲又因脑溢血突然与世长辞，留下了我和弟弟二人。此时的自己内心隐隐作痛，我问自己，未来的路是被环境所影响，混沌地过一生；还是走一条自强之路，做自己命运的主人。我决定推翻过去，重头来过。
带着这股决心，我努力调整好自己的心态，让自己微笑着过每一天。xx年九月我踏上了南方的求学之路，来到了金华职业技术学院。一位朋友曾这样对我说“不论你在哪，不论你的环境如何，不论你的遭遇有多不幸，生活中的美并不会消失，它在你心里。只要你肯用心，你能看到，你能感受到生活中仍然有许多美好的存在。”他的这席话让我开始省视自己的学习生活。
古语有云：命由天定，运由己生。‘命’是与生俱来的，富贵贫贱，都是祖辈给予我们的，‘运’是辛勤耕耘的，各自修行。诚然，好命确实是好运的助跑器，命好，在起跑点上有一股强大的推动力，助你赢在起跑线上。但，人生数十载，路漫漫，何止十万五千里长征，谁是成王败寇，谁能主宰沉浮，何人晓得？想罢，最准的占卜家也只有你吧。家境变迁，命途多舛，使我和我的家人在坎坷的道路上，跌跌撞撞，伤痕累累，但，每艰难的走完一步，我都相信下一步就是平坦大道。
快乐的人对生活总持积极态度，贫困不是博得同情的资本，自立自强最重要。生活的逆境让我比别的同学多了一份思考，多了一份压力，多了一份责任。大一上学期，曾去武义做过朵唯手机推销，给不同的陌生人推销手机，每天被顾客拒绝上百次，做成一单生意的`背后是数十次甚至上百次拒绝的艰辛。大一下半学期开始在金华市游乐园兼职，每周六周日当别人还在憨憨入睡的时候我便悄悄离开了宿舍到市区兼职。每天遇到不同性格的人，当他们跟我因为几分钟而争论的喋喋不休时，我不得不微笑着向他们解释别的小朋友还在那里排队等候呢！坦然和公平对待每一位小朋友，无论他们的家境是好还是差这都不重要，重要的是他们都是付了同样的钱都想来玩我这一个项目，所以就要让他们玩的开心些才行的。在兼职的日子里我收获的最多的是宽容和理解。
但这些困难与家里给我带来的痛苦相比，显得微不足道。渐渐地发现，这些大伙眼中的困难都能被我坦然接受，我的生活不再有抱怨，有的只是对生活的感恩，有的只是收获成长，自立自强的喜悦。“生活的战斗在大多数情况下，都像攻占山头一样，如果不费吹灰之力便赢得它，就像打了一场没有光荣的仗。没有困难，就没有成功；没有奋斗，就没有成就。”
从跨入大学的校门的那一刻起，我就有一个坚定的信念。我时刻提醒自己，要好好珍惜、把握宝贵的大学时光，尽可能地锻炼自己各方面的能力和提供综合素质，向合格的社会人才靠拢。
一、思想方面，志存高远、积极进取，xx年10月我光荣成为了一名入党积极分子，作为一名入党积极分子，我思想上始终积极要求进步，树立了远大目标和崇高志向，社会主义信念坚定；在入党积极分子重重考验中，我积极努力的完善自己的政治觉悟，在各个方面充分发挥了入党积极分子的先进性作用。
二、学习方面：刻苦认真、勤学好问，从不放松自己，不断提高学习能力和学习成绩我始终端正学习态度，改进学习方法，养成学习习惯，提高学习能力，刻苦认真，在学习上结出了累累硕果。三个学期，我始终保持学习成绩与综合测评成绩在全班名列前茅。先后通过了英语b级、三级和浙江省计算机一级考试。连续共获得校级二等奖学金一次和校级三等奖学金两次，并先后获得“校级优秀单项三好学生”荣誉称号和“国家励志奖学金”。因为我深信有梦想就有希望，有心就能够飞翔。作为当代大学生，我将正确对待来自各方面的困难和压力，努力学习各方面的知识，提高自己的就业能力。
三、工作方面：勤恳任劳、踏实肯干，大一下学期，我成为班级心理委员。在工作中始终坚持真诚服务同学、推进学生工作的理念，认真负责，讲求实干，既服务、团结了同学，同时也达到了锻炼和充实自我的目的。对待工作，我要求自己认真的做好每一步，争取各项工作取得圆满的成功。
四、生活方面：艰苦奋斗、勤俭自强，不断提高自立能力和道德品格，成为生活上的典范。作为一名河南省农村来的贫困大学生，家庭经济的拮据使我特别注意节约，做到勤俭朴素。生活上科学经营自己的支出，厉行节约，从不浪费。我利用课余时间在市区游乐园做兼职，加之学校奖助学金等，自立自强，至今已为家里节约不少开支，大大减轻了家庭的经济负担。我待人热情，坦诚友善，乐于助人，与同学和老师都建立良好的人际关系，群众基础良好。
我坚信，人一生成功或失败与你的环境无关，与你的态度有关。人不是为失败而生的，一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败。今天我站在这个舞台上就是一种成功。但我想，实现梦想以后，我会更成功，生活还在继续，自强之路仍在继续。
俞敏洪在中国“自强之星”颁奖典礼上说，精神的力量是强大的，奋斗精神是一辈子都应该拥有的。人的精神力量永远胜过物质力量。也就是说，我们的身体是由精神来主宰的，尽管我们相信物质先于思维而存在，但是精神和身体的健康、未来的能力永远是密切相关的。大家可以去网上看一下中国“自强之星”的事迹。这些青年或身体残疾，或身患重症，或家庭贫困，但是他们都以自强不息的精神，战胜了诸多人生挑战，是我们永远的榜样。

i'm from …… school of classxxx. i’ve been paying attention to the outlook english for many years and i am very interested in it for me, learning english is considered an enjoyment. at first, i have not participated in any oral competition before and i hesitated. i thought it was a hard thing to do in the past but i now believed that i should have a try. my teachers and friends have also given me the courage and i’ve become more confident through the process and that’s why i’m standing here. everybody should have the courage to catch the chance and hold on to the given opportunity. if we didn’t try , how can we be near our goals? i believe we can all achieve our goals if we continue to take a step forward.
just like when i’m learning english, the courage of facing the difficulties and my goal motivated me to move forward. just as the old saying goes, “the one who you must defeat is you yourself”, not only did i attained experiences and confidence throughout the process, i am also willing to learn that in order to improve, i had to defeat myself.
