i am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-days’ preparation with my friend jinly. thanks to jinly’s strong support in our work. i think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an excellent presentation to all my friends here.

the subject of our presentation is “your dream & your goal〞. during the next 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.

first of all, i’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. when we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. we answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. when we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. but unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. i guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. yep! we’re adults and they are waiting for a serious answer. well, how about this? who the hell knows! dream is only a dream. it’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. you know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. but what do dreams do? why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?

think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness just because you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? do you have had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keep falling from your eyes? that is the power from dreams! may i equate the faith and the dream here? as we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other to some extent but close to each other on the other hand. just like the parabola and the number line in mathematics. but it is the dream that help us to map out our aim and work out plans one after another in our life. just like what howard schultz, the founder of the starbuck said, dreams are like the stars----we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. and i believe that if you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may extremely finish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitative change!

i would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not. whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot. we'll weather the weather whether we like it or not. whatever you dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. reach your aim step by step and i believe your dreams will extremely e into truth!

thank you for your lending an attentive ear to my point of view. let’swele jinly and she will talk about the goal, which is the other part of our presentation, during the next 5 minutes. forgive my stupid words and it’s my pleasure to answer any of your questions after class!

you have been a very attentive audience---- thank you!

英语的未来演讲稿篇5

my dear teachers, fellow students and friends:

good afternoon.

as we all know, the earth is a planet almost covered by water, and it is water made every thing on the earth lively.water is also one of the important part of our environment.though,is there really so much water for us to clean,to produce many things,to play with?how much water are there on the earth then?

most of the water is in the oceans or locked away as ice.the largest volumes of fresh water are stored underground as groundwater, imagine there is only one barrel of water in the world, then there is only a spoon of it on the land, and the water we can use is only a drop of it.now i have to remind all of you here that the single drop of water is never as clean as before,it has been polluted severely by our human beings.

there is a very beautiful river in paris.it is the seine,it runs across the city, people drink coffee, chat on the bank in the day,at night, they enjoy the beautiful scenery in the boat, songs from the river fly into the sky made the river more attractive, the seine is a famous symbol of france;on the west coast of pacific ocean there lies the modern city shanghai, anot ther river which used to be a very important transportation route runs through the center of the city, people respected and regard it as"mother".it is the"suzhou river, but l believe that few of you would sit beside it,people will be scattered by the terrible smell of water when walk by.i have to say it is extremely dirty!and we all know that a lot of beautiful rivers in the world also are sharing the same fate with suzhou river. who is the devil?i can't help asking.

many human activities and their by-products have the potential to pollute water.please have a look along the banks of the river, large and small industrial enterprises discharge dirty

water, tons of garbage were thrown into the river, the water contained so much that it can't clean itself.compared with the dramatic development in many sides of shanghai, the suzhou river has become a black point of the appearance of city.

fortunately, the government has control the situation now,we are happy to see some parts of the river has become clean again, and we even can find fish sometime.

the unique earth is the only planet full of lives, the water is just like the blood in the active body, protecting water is saving ourselves.not to waste a single drop of water, otherwise, the only drop of water we could keep in the future would be our tear!

my dear friends, mankind still faces a great difficulty in solving the problems of the environment and development, and there is a grand task to perform and along way to go.the middle school students in china will always cooperate with the young people of the world to protect the environment.

the future is ours to build!

thanks for listening.

英语的未来演讲稿篇7

five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.

but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have e here today to dramatize an appalling condition. in a sense we have e to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has e back marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.

so we have e to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also e to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.

those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro munity must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have e to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.
